Knowing Exchange 2007 is a resource hog, would I be better off to go with a nicer RAID controller or just add another 3 drives and create another RAID 5 array for Exchange? With all OSes running, SiSoft Sandra gives me a Drive Index of 51 MB/s. This isn't the best RAID controller, but it was there. However, I wonder if I need to better tweak the arrangements here. I then added another 2GB and things got better. I started this system out with 4GB of RAM and whenever I kicked up the Exchange OS, Paging and Avg. Guest OS3: Windows Server 2003 R2 64Bit (2 Processors / 3GB RAM) (Exchange 2007) Guest OS2: Windows Server 2003 R2 64Bit (1 Processor / 1GB RAM) (SQL Server 2005) Guest OS1: Windows Server 2003 R2 64Bit (1 Processor / 1GB RAM) (Domain Controller, File and Print Services) ![]() Integrated into motherboard (Intel ICH9R)
